Terms of Sale

These terms apply to every order placed on jaliscosocial.shop. Jalisco Social is operated by an individual, not a registered company — see our Contact page for how to reach us. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are

Jalisco Social is a trading name used for this store; it is operated by an individual seller, not a registered legal entity. You can reach us at support@jaliscosocial.shop.

2. Prices & currency

Prices are shown in the currency you select (US Dollars, Euros or British Pounds) using the switcher in the site header. The currency you select is the currency you are charged in at checkout. Prices exclude any import duties, taxes or customs fees that may apply on delivery — see Shipping & Delivery.

3. Promotions

We are not currently running any discount codes, promotional pricing or time-limited offers. If we introduce one in future, its specific terms (eligible products, dates, and any exclusions) will be stated wherever the offer is advertised and at checkout.

4. Order acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy; we accept it when we confirm it by email. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item turns out to be out of stock, if there is a pricing error, or if we suspect fraud — in which case we will notify you and refund any payment taken in full.

5. Payment

Payment is collected in full at checkout via the payment methods offered at the time you order. We do not store your full card details on our own servers; payments are handled by third-party, PCI-compliant payment processors. See Payment & Security.

7. Product descriptions

We describe every product using the information given to us by our sourcing partners. Colours may vary slightly from your screen; reactive-glaze and hand-painted stoneware, and natural wood grain on acacia pieces, vary piece to piece by nature — see Materials & Care.

8. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to place an order.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the price you paid for the relevant order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you, including your statutory consumer rights.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except that if you are a consumer resident in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of your own country of residence, which take precedence over this clause where they conflict.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force is the one published on this page at the time you place your order.
