How payment works

Payment is taken at the final step of checkout by our third-party payment provider, which is certified to the PCI-DSS standard for handling card data. The payment methods available to you are shown on the checkout page before you confirm your order.

Your card details are entered directly with the payment provider over an encrypted connection. We never receive, see or store your full card number on our own servers.

Currency

You are charged in the currency shown at checkout — US dollars, euros or British pounds, whichever you selected in the site header. Your bank may apply its own exchange or foreign-transaction fees if your card is in a different currency.

When you are charged

Your payment is taken when you place your order. If we cannot fulfil an order — for example because an item has sold out — we cancel it and refund the full amount to the original payment method.

Encryption

Every page on this site is served over HTTPS, so information sent between your browser and our server is encrypted in transit.

Fraud prevention

Our payment provider runs standard fraud checks on every transaction. Occasionally we may ask for additional verification before shipping an order if something looks unusual.
